Rabindranath Tagore paragraph in English/ My Favorite Poet

       RABINDRANATH NATH TAGORE

Rabindranath Tagore, the greatest poet of bengali literature, was born on May 7,1861 at Jorasanko in Calcutta. His parents were Maharshi Debendranath Tagore and Sarada Devi. Rabindranath was born and brought up in a very rich and cultured family. He had his early school education at the Oriental Seminary and the Metropolitan Institution. But school life didn't suit him. So he continued his studies at home under private tutors. Then he went to England for higher studies. Rabindranath began writing poems ever since his very childhood. He got the most prestigious Nobel Prize in 1913 for his outstanding contribution in the field of literature. This great educationist founded the Visva Bharati University at Shantiniketan in 1902. Rabindranath was a great patriot, too. He started the,'Rakhibandhan' and renounced Knighthood in protest against the Jalianwalah Bag massacre in 1919. This great poet of the world died on August 7,1941,but his thoughts and ideas will never die. 

JOHN KEATS PARAGRAPH

       JOHN KEATS

One of the greatest of English poets was John Keats. He was born in London in the year 1795 Keats who became so famous later on, was not so bright and brilliant in his boyhood. He began his medical profession in 1810 as an apprentice to a doctor. But he gave up this medical profession after a few years in 1817. In the meantime, his innate and inherent love of literature made him study and learn greek and English literatures. Then Keats started writing poems of which 'Ode to a Nightingale','Ode to Autumn' and 'To One Who Has been Long In City Pent' deserve mention. But this great poet was unfortunately attacked with consumption. The disease was detected in 1820. As a result, his health broke down and he went to Italy to regain his lost health. But Keats could not recover from this dangerous disease and ultimately died a premature death there in 1821. Despite his short life, John Keats has been one of the finest poets England has ever produced.

         ABANINDRANATH TAGORE

Abanindranath was one of the finest painters India has ever produced. He was born at Jorasanko, Calcutta in 1871. Gunendranath was his father. Abanindranath inherited the rich and cultural backgrounds of Tagore family. He learnt foreign languages and Sanskrit at home under private tutors. He learnt western art from the great art teachers named Gilardy and Pummer, and Japanese art from Taikan. Abanindranath Tagore made many wonderful artistic creation. Of these mention must be made of "Krishnalila ", " Buddha and Sujata", Omar Khaiam's Pictures and others. Abanindranath not only excelled in painting but also made great contribution in the field of literature. He is famous for his literary creations like, "Kshirer putul", Shakuntala, 'Raj Kahini, 'Nalok,'etc. This outstanding painter passed away in 1951. But we can never forget his wonderful contribution as a painter.

My HOBBY PARAGRAPH ON 150 WORDS

              MY HOBBY


Hobby is a favorite activity that a person pursues for pleasure and not as his regular business. Different person have different hobbies. My favorite hobby is gardening. One day about two years back I visited one of my relatives house. There' I saw a beautiful garden with different flowers blooming in it. It impressed me so much. Since then I made up my mind to make a flower garden of my own. My garden is in a small plot of land in front of my house. The land was covered all around with the bamboo fence. The soil was dug up with the spade. Then fertilizer was applied. Perennial flowers plants were planted all round the garden. In the middle, there are beds for seasons flowers. I spend my leisure hours in the garden digging soil, watering and pruning the plants. My joy knows no bounds when the plants burst into beautiful blossoms. I feel tremendously encouraged when everybody enjoys the beauty and fragrance of flowers. Gardening gives me great pleasure and some education in Culvation. 

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION of INDIA PARAGRAPH

 THE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT                                SCHOOL

The Independence Day was celebrated with pomp and gaitey at our school. The function on this occasion began in the morning of the 15th August last on our school premises which were beautifully decorated with flowers and festoons. Students came to school early in the morning with beautiful dresses on. A well decorated platform with a pandal was erected for the occasion. Dr. Amalesh Tripathi, eminent historian, presided over the function, which began with the singing of a patriotic songs in chorus. Then the president hoisted the National Flag. We saluted the flag and sang our national song. Then the students sang patriotic songs and recited poems befitting the occasion. A few of our teachers spoke on the occasion about the significance of the day. At last the president made a stirring speech. He asked and advised us to love our motherland and fight against evil forces. This was followed by a vote of thanks proposed by the Headmaster. The function came to a close with a closing song. 


My Village paragraph for school children

                       My Village

The name of my village is Pujali. It is situated in the district of south 24 Parganas. It is about 25 km. Away from the city of Kolkata. The holy Hooghly flows by our village. The communication is very good here. The village is well connected with Kolkata by water, road and railways. Ours is a big and beautiful village. We have a primary school, a post office, a high school, a few clubs, and a primary health center in our village. The village has a population of about five thousands. The majority of the villagers here are poor and Cultivation is their main occupation. Among the employed people, there are teachers, clerks, postman, doctors, and workers in local mills and factories. The people of the village belongs either to Hindu or the Muslims community. The villagers of these two different religions live together happily and peacefully. But our village has also its problems. The main problem is that most of the villagers are poor and illiterate. The established villagers can, however, try to solve these problems. 

My DAILY LIFE paragraph English

               MY DAILY LIFE

I always try to follow a fixed routine in my everyday life. I am an early riser. So i get up as early as 5:30 in the morning in all seasons. Then I wash my hands and face, have a hot drink and take some physical exercise. I take my breakfast at 6:45 and then settle down to study at 7 a. m. My study is over by 9 a. m. After this I take bath and have my meal between 9:15 a. m. and 9:45 a. m. I normally start for school at about 10 a. m. by bus. It takes twenty minutes to reach my school. I stay and study at school between 10:45 a. m. and 4 p. m. During this time, I am very serious and sincere and listen to my teachers very attentively. After the school is over, I come back home by 4:30 p. m. and have some refreshment. I then go to the playground to play football or cricket. My evening study starts at 6:30 p. m.   and continues till 9:30 p. m. Then I watch TV programmes especially the news in English and take my dinner at 10 p. m. I go to bed at 10:30 p. m. But on Sunday and other holidays, I do not follow this fixed routine. Then I do different things.

 A Boat Journey/Adventure of tour


It was a moonlight night. We four friends we're on a boat sailing on a wide river. The rippling water of the river was reflecting in the moonlight. The dark forests on either side were mysterious. We could see lights dotted on either side from distance villages. Our journey by boat was really exciting and thrilling. We shall never forget such an experience.

The name my school is Ramkrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur. It is one of the finest school not only of Bengal but also of India. Our school is situated in South 24 Parganas about 5 km. away from Garia, Kolkata. The school was established in 1958. Revered Swami Lokeswarananda is the maker of this school. The aim of this educational institutions is to give man making education which Swami Vivekananda wanted. The school was to parts- junior section and senior section. The school buildings in both the sections are very big. The classrooms are big and airy. It is residential school. There are about 1000 students in our school. We have about 40 teachers. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced they are love us much and teach sincerely. I love my school very much.
